More tasks and responsibilities
Working in all product development phases from pre-study to end of life:
- System Design
- Develop and maintain software components
- Simulation, scripting and tool automation for software verification.
Cooperation with other disciplines, such as:
- Electrical and Hydraulic Design
- R&D-testing
- Sourcing and supply chain
- Suppliers
Reporting directly to the Director R&D. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden and requires office attendance at least three times per week.
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate is flexible and possesses problem-solving skills with inherent analytical qualities. You are also adept at developing and presenting new and innovative solutions. Furthermore, you adapt easily to new techniques and demonstrate a keen desire to increase their knowledge.
Ideally you have
- University degree in electronic and control engineering, software engineering, or engineering physics with focus on system engineering
- Skills in programming in C/C++ language
- Experience with embedded systems and agile development
- Experience of functional safety, machine vision or simulation modelling is an advantage.
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
