The purpose of this role is to execute service, repair and maintenance work, such as diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair of equipment on the MacGregor product range, plus 3rd party makers if needed.This is a position that requires that you travel to client sites, vessels or at shipyards worldwide. Our clients are spread across the globe therefore, flexibility and a strong willingness to travel is essential.


This role is part of our Global Services Division, Reporting directly to the Operations Superintendent. Ideally you will be located close to Aberdeen, the UK.

More tasks and responsibilities

  • Provide information and present reports as required
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Enable feedback from customers and the service market in general to reach the appropriate MacGregor organisation
  • Stay up to date with relevant developments, routines, processes and news within MacGregor major customers active in business area
  • Cooperate with the local MacGregor service network

What you’ll need to succeed

We are seeking a highly communicative and technically skilled individual who thrives on solving challenges and prioritizes customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate collaborative abilities within a multicultural environment.

 

  • Engineering Graduates encouraged to apply
  • Experience and/or education in the Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, Marine, Military or heavy engineering Industry
  • Hands on skills in performing repair jobs
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to write reports and documentation electronically
  • Offshore experience is an advantage
  • Openness to business travel and irregular working hours
  • Fluent in English - both verbal and written
