Are you a results-driven project management professional with a passion for delivering complex projects successfully? We are looking for a highly capable Project Manager to take ownership of our high and medium risk projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of cost, quality, customer satisfaction, and internal organization satisfaction.
This is a critical role that bridges our sales and service teams, making you the central figure in successful project execution from start to finish—and beyond.
You will be ensuring the commercial and technical content of all work (tenders, proposals, offers, and execution) is correct and in line with MacGregor policies.
More tasks and responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the execution of assigned projects, from the Handover from OSD Sales right through to delivery and Handover to GSD.
- Execute projects strictly in accordance with the MacGregor Project Execution Model and Bizagi Process Flow.
- Ensure all projects meet targets for on-time delivery, cost, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction (customer and internal).
- Manage and resolve all warranty claims from the customer for your allocated projects throughout the warranty period.
- Proactively do analyses of the financial forecast, risk and project planning.
Reporting directly to the Program Manager Projects. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Kristiansand or Arendal, Norway.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a great fit for the role if you have good analytical skills, positive and motivating leadership style. You are also independent, self-driven, flexible and open minded. You have interdisciplinary understanding and you know how to create and build trust with colleagues and clients.
- Higher degree, Bachelor or Master level, preferably within engineering and/or finance
- Proven operational experience and results in project management of complex or high/medium risk projects within relevant businesses
- Coordination and project management skills
- P&L responsibility and tracking budgets
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
