Are you looking for an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of an organization’s structure? Looking no further, MacGregor is looking to hire a Junior Purchaser to join our team.


The purpose of this role is to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective purchasing in line with company policy, while supporting sales, and providing delivery reports.


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating activities related to commodity purchases, such as pending inquiries and order confirmations, and preparing purchase order documents. In addition, you will confirm order realization and delivery dates.

More tasks and responsibilities

  • Proactively alert Order Handlers to price/project date incompatibilities
  • Follow up on placed orders, adjusting activities to ensure timely delivery
  • Monitor demand and follow up with suppliers
  • Ensure goods delivery in accordance with agreed Incoterms/Terms & Conditions
  • Prepare all purchase documentation for accurate and timely invoicing


This role is part of our Global Services Division. Reporting directly to the Team Leader. This position is based in Gdansk, Poland.

What you’ll need to succeed

Technical knowledge and product understanding are essential in this position. We are looking for a person who possesses good communication and analytical skills. Experience in SAP and G-Suite will be an asset. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to handle complex situations, resolve problems effectively, and meet tight deadlines.


Ideally you have

 

  • 0,5 - 1 year of experience on similar position
  • University degree is preferred
  • Fluent in English language - both verbal and written
