Junior Quotation Handler

Do you thrive providing customer service for the lifecycle of marine and offshore spares products? Looking no further, MacGregor is looking to hire a Junior Quotation Handler to join our team.

The purpose of this role is replying to customer inquiries within an agreed time frame, creating quotes for customers, and accurately identifying components using the company's database. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include reporting non-conformities in terms of missing or inaccurate master data, such as sales price, weight dimensions, and commodity codes. In addition, you will assist the purchasing team and order fulfillment team, and cooperate with technical support and sales support responsibilities in branches around the world when needed. You will, with your team members, be responsible for a “core” product line's workflow and ensure it is maintained at a satisfactory level at all times.

More tasks and responsibilities

• Address customer inquiries within agreed timeframes, ensuring prompt and efficient communication
• Identify and provide precise pricing and delivery dates for spare parts using company databases and pricing tools
• Create detailed customer quotations, prioritizing them for efficient workflow and timely delivery
• Accurately identify components using databases and collaborate with technical support when necessary
• Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders and provide follow-up support on open quotations, including assistance to branch offices

This role is part of our Global Quotation Management Division. Reporting directly to the Team Leader. This position is based in Gdansk, Poland.

What you’ll need to succeed

Technical knowledge and product understanding are essential in this position. We are looking for a person who has previous experience with SAP and G-Suite, and who possesses good communication and analytical skills. You have the ability to handle complexity, solve problems effectively, and work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Ideally you have

• 0,5 - 1 year of experience in a similar position
• University degree is preferred
• Fluent in English language - both verbal and written
