We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operational Excellence Expert to join our team. Your primary role will be to swiftly analyze existing organizational processes to identify and validate opportunities for modernization, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and best practices. You will act as a catalyst for continuous improvement, driving significant positive change across our workflows.

 

Reporting directly to the Director, Sourcing and Supply Chain. This position is based in Gdańsk, Poland.

More tasks and responsibilities

  • Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.
  • Conducts risk assessments and identifies critical steps and gaps in processes.
  • Proposes mitigating actions to solve critical steps and gaps.
  • Optimizes by proposing new procedures.
  • Leads end-to-end process reviews using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and value-stream mapping.
  • Identifies inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste; proposes and implements improvement solutions.
  • Standardizes processes and ensures best practices are documented and followed.
  • Assembles reports to document process status and KPIs.
  • Trains teams or individuals in process development and implementation.

What you’ll need to succeed


To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong interest in developing existing and new processes, tools, and ways of working to increase efficiency and productivity. You must possess exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills, along with the proven ability to collaborate effectively across different cultures, both independently and within teams. 


Ideally you have

 

  • Relevant and completed education in process development or proven experience as process expert, consultant role or similar;
  • Experience in developing and implementing processes;
  • Proficiency in work with MS Office, Google platforms, SAP and Salesforce/CRM;
  • Six Sigma certification - as an added value;
  • Highly developed exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills;
  • Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems;
  • Experience in running process optimization and automation projects;
  • Excellent cooperation skills, ability to work with different cultures, ability to work independently and in teams;
  • A strong interest in developing existing and new processes, tools and ways of working to increase efficiency and productivity;
  • Fluency in English.
