Do you thrive providing customer service for the lifecycle of marine and offshore spares products? Looking no further, MacGregor is looking to hire a Quotation Handler (DM&SG) to join our team.


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include reporting non-conformities in terms of missing or inaccurate master data, such as sales price, weight dimensions, and commodity codes. In addition, you will assist the purchasing team and order fulfillment team, and cooperate with technical support and sales support responsibilities in branches around the world when needed. You will, with your team members, be responsible for a “core” product line's workflow and ensure it is maintained at a satisfactory level at all times.

More tasks and responsibilities

  • Preparing quotations according to inquiry (identifying parts, offering additional parts, certificates, programmable parts
  • Identify all components accurately by using the company's database or tech. support
  • Deliver sales prices and lead times based on internal pricing tools
  • Create quotes for customers. Drive daily business with good quality of the offers and business needs
  • Reply to internal and external customers’ inquiries within agreed time frame
  • Secure quotation workflow using prioritisation of inquiries
  • Support other teams (product lines) within the quotation teams
  • Support Customer Experience teams with follow up on open quotations
  • Secure unbroken flow in communication between the stakeholders
  • Update missing ERP data with close cooperation with the Material Master Data Team
  • Identify areas for improvements, analyse processes, risks & opportunities and propose solutions


Reporting directly to the Team Leader located in MacGregor office in Gdansk. The position will be based in one of MacGregor’s offices.

What you’ll need to succeed

Technical knowledge and product understanding are essential in this position. We are looking for a person who has previous experience with SAP and G-Suite, and who possesses good communication and analytical skills. You have the ability to handle complexity, solve problems effectively, and work efficiently under tight deadlines.


Ideally you have

  • More than 1 year of experience in a similar position
  • University degree is preferred
  • Computer skills; ERP system knowledge (preferably SAP), Google package (G Suite) is an asset
  • Basic technical drawing reading skills
  • Customer oriented with high communication skills
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
