Quotation Handler

Do you excel at providing customer support for marine and offshore spare parts? Look no further: MacGregor is hiring a Quotation Handler (CAS).

 

Working closely with your colleagues, you will oversee the workflow for a core product line, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. Apart from preparing the quotations, your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating globally with our sales support branches and technical departments. 

More tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Prepare accurate customer quotations by identifying components and utilizing internal database or technical support
  • Determine competitive sales prices and lead times using internal pricing tools to deliver high-quality offers
  • Reply to all internal and external inquiries promptly while prioritizing the quotation workflow
  • Collaborate with product lines, customer experience, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication
  • Cooperate with the Material Master Data Team to identify the inconsistencies and update missing ERP data
  • Identify process risks or opportunities and actively propose areas for improvement

 

Reporting directly to the Team Leader. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Gdansk.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

We are looking for a person who has previous experience with SAP and G-Suite, and who possesses good communication and analytical skills. You have the ability to handle complexity, solve problems effectively, and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
 
Ideally you have

 

  • More than 1 year of experience in a similar position
  • University degree (preferrable)
  • Computer skills; ERP system knowledge (preferably SAP), Google package (G Suite) is an asset
  • Basic technical drawing reading skills
  • Customer oriented mindset with high communication skills
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
