Are you a German speaking  Sourcing Manager looking to make a real impact? We’re looking for someone to join our Global Service Division(GSD) and help us reach our strategic and financial goals.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our sourcing strategy—managing spend, hitting key KPIs, and shaping the future of our product lines. You won't be doing it alone; you'll work side-by-side with our Category Sourcing and GSD teams to ensure we're delivering high-quality products that keep our customers moving forward.

More tasks and responsibilities

• Closely linked to GSD business needs, establish and provide Sourcing Strategies to Category Sourcing teams
• Cooperate with Category Sourcing to develop suppliers that are essential for the products
• Responsible for GSD suppliers, which are not covered by Category Sourcing, incl. terms and conditions, agreements, performance etc.
• Maintain and develop agreements with the suppliers and partners of GSD
• Develop work flow and logistic models with suppliers and partners
• Follow up, forecast and communicate GSD supply needs
• Close cooperation with GSD purchasing and quotation functions to support if needed
• Secure that supplier data such as delivery conditions, prices and lead times are updated in SAP
• Ensure adherence to GSD Quality System
• Support and regularly follow up the Design to Cost (DtC) actions as well as preferred suppliers involvement
• Define, report and reach targets for Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation(QDCI) in the scope.

The position is based in Gdansk, Poland, reporting directly to Senior Manager, Sourcing MacGregor Global Services Division, located in Norway. 

What you’ll need to succeed

The ideal candidate possesses strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of success in collaborating with key work partners. They are able to build and maintain relationships effectively, backed by strong presentation and writing skills that allow them to communicate clearly and express themselves well both in groups and in one-to-one conversations.

 Furthermore, they demonstrate the ability to gather relevant information systematically, consider a broad range of issues or factors, grasp complexities, perceive the relationships among problems, and actively seek input from others.

Ideally you have

• Commercial or Technical background, B.Sc. or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three years of experience in international sourcing operations
• Knowledge of MacGregor products and supplier base is preferred, alongside a solid understanding of aftersales market needs
• Proficiency in the implementation and oversight of strategic initiatives
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Fluent in both written and spoken German
