Are you passionate about leading a team to achieve success? MacGregor is looking to hire a Purchasing Team Leader.

This role is a key contributor to achieving our core objectives, with a dual emphasis. It focuses on driving service excellence by upholding and advancing the team's standard of service, notably through on-time and budget-compliant delivery. In addition it is responsible for cultivating a cohesive team environment marked by strong morale and a positive team spirit.

More tasks and responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and workload distribution, fostering a high-performance culture rooted in ownership and continuous improvement.
• Actively monitor team skills to identify training needs and implement development programs that sharpen technical expertise.
• Formulate and implement team strategies that are in direct alignment with the vision of Global Services.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds performance targets.
• Maintain best practices for team workflows, ensuring professional SAP & Salesforce usage and a customer-centric approach across all business segments.
• Manage purchasing and sourcing for nominated suppliers, proactively identifying and capturing cost-saving opportunities.
• Synchronize with global Supply Chain functions to ensure project delivery stays on budget and on schedule.
• Propose and lead structural changes to operating modules to boost overall delivery quality and efficiency.

Reporting directly to the Senior Team Leader The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Gdansk, Poland.

Superior communication skills are critical for effectively integrating and coordinating efforts across diverse departments.

A strong candidate will demonstrate a pronounced drive for continuous learning, a robust commitment to constant improvement, and a willingness to challenge and enhance existing processes.

Ideally you have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Previous experience in purchasing and demonstrated leadership capabilities, or the proven potential to step into a leadership position.
• A strong grasp of cross-functional interactions and their impact on overall operations.
• Excellent skills in data interpretation, problem-solving, and logical reasoning.A self-motivated and proactive work ethic with a flexible approach to managing changing priorities.
