We're looking for a proactive and experienced Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in coordinating and supporting the execution of maintenance and repair works in strict alignment with our Operating Principle Manual (OPM). You will act as a key interface, ensuring smooth and compliant service operations that meet customer requirements.

More tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Coordinating service operations to fulfil customer requirements
  • Maintaining service job data in Salesforce and personnel planning tool
  • Preparing service jobs, arranging technical documentation, and ordering services from subcontractors, shipyards, or sister companies
  • Providing service quotations to both customers and frontline sales
  • Supporting service administrative tasks (e.g., booking flight tickets, visa applications, yard/port entry applications, local insurance) where needed
  • Ensuring full compliance with the Operating Principle Manual (OPM)
  • Follow up Service Engineers before and after assignments
  • First-line technical support to service engineers
  • Preparing relevant documents necessary for invoicing
  • Checking and approving incoming invoices for parts and subcontractors
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships for defined accounts

 

Reporting directly to the Operations Superintendent. This position is based in Bergen, Norway.

What you’ll need to succeed

To excel in this position, you should have a strong background in service operations, preferably paired with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Your success will hinge on your proven project management, communication, and organizational skills, ensuring all maintenance and repair activities are coordinated efficiently and on time.

 

Ideally you have

  • Bachelor’s degree or Vocational certificate, preferably in Mechanical/ electrical engineering. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in service operations or a similar field
  • Demonstrate good project management and communications skills
  • Proficiency in SAP and Salesforce
  • Fluent Norwegian and English both written and oral
