More tasks and responsibilities
- Receipt, checking, storage, and packing of goods; quality control and freight booking (SAP)
- Despatch/loading, inventory counting, and record-keeping of goods movements
- Manage warehouse safety, security, cleaning, and labeling of goods
- Oversee rental tools: maintenance, packing, dispatch, inspections, and inventory management
- Ensure workshop machinery is maintained according to procedures
- Perform minor repairs of tooling, manage consumables procurement, and maintain a clean, safe workshop environment
- Independently handle workshop operations, coordinate with engineers, and manage vehicles (cars, trailers, trucks)
This role is part of our Global Services Division. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager. This position is based in Bergen, Norway.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Relevant apprenticeship certificate (mechanical, industrial, hydraulics, electrics) or equivalent background
- Understanding of Mechanical and Hydraulic assembly, tooling etc.
- Warehouse and field service experience is an advantage
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Norwegian and English - both verbal and written
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace, SAP
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multitask
- Proactive in addressing customer needs (both external and internal)
- Driving license for car and forklift required
- Knowledge of G11 Loose Lifting Gear
