We are looking for a HR Advisor with significant experience in operative HR administration, HR systems, processes, Swedish labor law, and union negotiations. This key role will deliver effective operative HR support (including legal compliance, in collaboration with the HR Support Center and Country HR Manager). You will act as a trusted advisor to the HR Support Center, managers, and employees in Sweden, and manage union negotiations and relationships for Sweden, with support for Denmark.

The position will be located in Gothenburg or Örnsköldsvik, Sweden and reports to Manager HR, MacGregor.

More tasks and responsibilities

  • Providing operational and tactical HR support and advice to MacGregor units and management, while collaborating with the global HR support team to assist managers and employees.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain local HR policies, ensuring ongoing legal and MacGregor company-level compliance
  • Ensure compliance across payroll, pensions, insurance, data protection, and related areas.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to coordinate fairs and employer branding initiatives, while actively contributing to the further development of our positive company culture
  • Frequent travel between Gothenburg and Örnsköldsvik offices, depending on work localization

What you’ll need to succeed

As a HR Advisor, you will leverage a deep understanding of the business context to offer insightful and sound advice to managers and employees, directly contributing to organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. Your excellent interpersonal skills, fostering positive interactions and strong working relationships at all levels, will be crucial in building trust and facilitating collaboration. Above all, you will bring a genuine HR passionate approach to your work, driving initiatives and providing support that aligns with best practices and the company's strategic objectives.


Ideally you have

 

  • A university degree in Human Resources or a closely related discipline, or substantial relevant experience in an HR role.
  • + 5 years experience from operative HR support in a global environment
  • Proven experience in Swedish Labor Law, Payroll, Pensions, Insurance, Systematic Work Environment, and Rehabilitation.
  • Extensive experience in building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with union representatives and a proven track record of successful union negotiations, including contract development and implementation.
  • An experience in the field of Employer branding, with a focus on building a positive company reputation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
