Are you a strategic pricing proffessional ready to make a real impact? In this newly established role, you will build and lead MacGregor’s pricing function from the ground up, shaping how we approach pricing across the organization.


As Head of Pricing, you will play a key strategic role, partnering with all divisions and business lines to drive profitability and support our growth ambitions. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Management to establish disciplined pricing and revenue management practices, ensuring a consistent and value-driven approach across the business.

More tasks and responsibilities

● Setting the vision and strategy for pricing aligned with MacGregor’s strategy and long-term growth targets
● Driving value-based pricing by anticipating customer value creation and capturing that value through disciplined pricing structures

● Defining and implementing customer and product segmentation, including discount structures

● Implement and ensure pricing governance and compliance, driving consistency and clarity across global markets

● Building advanced analytics and tools for pricing and revenue management

● Forecasting market dynamics (demand, price levels, competitive actions) and translating them into proactive commercial actions

● Acting as a thought leader in Pricing and Commercial Excellence, influencing strategic decisions

 

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer located in Gothenburg. The position will be based in one of MacGregor's office locations in Gothenburg, Helsinki or alternatively in Stockholm.

 

What you’ll need to succeed

Driven by a passion for creating impact through pricing excellence, you thrive in dynamic, fast-moving environments where you balance strategic foresight with operational execution. You feel equally at home doing in-depth data analysis as well as presenting in the boardroom, ensuring your insights translate into executive action. A positive attitude and people skills, even when working under pressure, support you in implementing your plans into concrete actions.

 

Ideally you have

  • A strong academic background in business or engineering
  • Proven experience in leading pricing and revenue management at a senior level in an international B2B environment
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on ability to turn insights into actions
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets, distilling findings into clear commercial recommendations
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills - you can engage stakeholders from sales teams to executive management
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; other languages and cultural understanding are an advantage
