In this role, you will manage the IT environment and infrastructure, with a focus on securing Cargo Access Solutions (CAS) classified information while ensuring the integrity and availability of information. Beyond CAS operations, you will contribute to our global initiatives, supporting diverse locations and enterprise-wide activities. The role is essential to fulfilling security and compliance requirements relevant to MacGregor’s operational standards, industry regulations and customer contracts. 

The role acts as the CAS technical authority, ensuring the site’s IT environment remains fully compliant with Designated Security Authorities (DSA’s) requirements for the treatment of classified information, while closely cooperating with the central MacGregor IT team for general compliance and operations in accordance with e.g. ISO27001 regulation.

More tasks and responsibilities

Regulatory Alignment:

  • Implement and maintain IT controls to fulfill various Security Governance requirements 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders directly

  • Ensure the IT environment strictly adheres to Designated Security Authorities’ requirements 

  • Prepare the site for and participate in security inspections

 

Classified Information Management:

  • Manage the handling of classified data, ensuring physically secure storage and processing on air-gapped or secured networks

  • Enforce strict Role-Based Access Control and physical access rights to secure zones 

 

Infrastructure & Operations:

  • Maintain servers, firewalls, and switches, ensuring they meet the hardened configuration standards required for classified processing

  • Support the global IT organisation servers, firewalls, and switches

  • Act as the bridge to MacGregor IT, ensuring that corporate global standards are applied. Manage conflicts with the local security levels

 

Reporting directly to the Manager of ICT Architecture & Infrastructure which is located in Finland. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Gothenburg, Sweden. 

What you’ll need to succeed

Focus on compliance and adherence to security protocols will be integral for this role in addition to interpreting and applying complex DSA/Navy requirements locally. To be successful you must also demonstrate a high level of integrity when it comes to sensitive and classified information, as well as the ability to work independently when disconnected from a central support structure. 

 

Core Experience:

  • Familiarity with Information Security Governance, DSA requirements, or similar defense-sector information security frameworks

  • Experience managing IT environments for classified or restricted information

  • Strong knowledge of network segmentation, firewalls, and access control lists (ACLs) required for isolating classified data

  • Extensive experience with Windows Server, as well as knowledge of Active Directory 

  • Familiarity with AWS will be considered an advantage

  • English and Swedish languages at a Proficient level is required for the role
