We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical system design, driving continuous improvement, optimizing work processes, and shaping the future of our products.
This role is part of our Equipment and Solutions Division and reporting directly to the Manager, Control System (Cargo Access Solution).
The position will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
More tasks and responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for electrical system design across various projects, ensuring the design meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Ensure seamless integration with mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Assist the Production department in preparing specifications for electrical components and equipment. Ensure that the specifications meet both technical and budgetary requirements, ensuring optimal quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with the Sales department to review and validate tender/enquiry and contract documents related to electrical and control systems. This will ensure that we present the best possible solutions to our clients, taking into account both their needs and our capabilities.
- Continuously develop and implement improvements to our product design and processes.
What you’ll need to succeed
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical design, ideally in complex or industrial projects.
- Expertise in electrical engineering and design.
- Proficiency in BUS/network, E3, AutoCAD, and PLC.
- Strong understanding of design processes, rules and regulations, and production knowledge.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement, innovate, and adapt to changing technologies.
- Excellent planning, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
