Are you driven by problem solving? Do you thrive working with complex and large equipment? Looking no further, MacGregor is looking to hire a Service Engineer to join our team.
 

The purpose of the role is to provide services to our customers, for their ships and fleets, cargo access equipment and Cargo Cranes among other MacGregor or third party manufactured equipment. 
 

As a Service Engineer, you will manage projects and execute a wide range of service activities, including refurbishment, upgrades, inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective actions on MacGregor and related equipment. In addition, you will establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers. 

 

More tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Provide information and present reports as required
  • Enable feedback from customers and the service market in general to reach the appropriate MacGregor organization 
  • Stay up to date with relevant developments, routines, processes and news within MacGregor major customers active in business area 
  • Cooperate with the local MacGregor service network

 

This role is part of our Global Services Division. Reporting directly to the Operations Superintendent. This position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, but requires worldwide travel. 

What you’ll need to succeed

We are looking for a person with a mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical background and field service experience. As a person you are cooperative, customer oriented and have technical skills. 

Ideally you have

 

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in English language - both verbal and written
