Are you excited about visiting customers and building customer relationships? Looking no further, MacGregor is looking to hire a Junior Account Manager to join our team.
The purpose of this role is to to promote and sell the organization's products with main focus on spare parts and services. This position is the front line of the respective customer contacts.
As Junior Account Manager your day-to-day responsibilities will include negotiating prices, delivery times and other related details within limits of authority and concluding sales orders. Also you will assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
More tasks and responsibilities
- Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business
- Plan and execute regularly scheduled customer visits
- Collect all relevant market and customer information and feedback and share information internally in order to improve effectiveness of market strategies
- Develop and implement sales tactics and action plans with line manager’s approval
This role is part of our Global Service Division. Reporting directly to the Regional Account Manager. This position is based in MacGregor’s office in Hamburg, Germany.
What you’ll need to succeed
We are looking for a person who has negotiation skills, ability to listen to the customer and actively investigate and stay informed with market trends. The suitable person has an analytical mindset as well as wants to develop relationships.
Ideally you have
- Educational background in engineering, marine or business
- 2+ years in sales experience in Marine, Offshore or other relevant field
- Experience with Google Workspace is a plus
- Ability to work Independently.
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent in German - written and spoken
- Proficient in English - written and spoken
