Internal Development Specialist

Are you driven by internal development initiatives? Do you thrive working with project teams on planning and executing projects? Look no further, MacGregor is looking to hire an Internal Development Specialist with strategic thinking, analytical skills, and hands-on execution capabilities.
Your primary assignment will be to join a key transformation programme, placing you at the core of MacGregor’s journey to enhance internal efficiencies and drive customer success by improving the connection between the Aftersales and New Build divisions. You will work hands-on in the PMO, and contribute to strategic and operational analysis, project planning, business case follow-up, stakeholder management, change management, communication, risk management and other PMO tasks. You will collaborate closely with stream leads and change owners on all project phases: planning, executing, and closing. Based on your skill set, you might lead certain areas independently.
The preferred location is Helsinki, Finland but we are also open to candidates from other MacGregor locations, such as Kaarina/Finland, Gdansk/Poland, Gothenburg/Sweden and Hamburg/Germany.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Support programme planning and management tasks such as action planning, capacity planning, budgeting, communication, risk mitigation, and reporting
- Support change management planning and execution
- Conduct needs assessments, develop and deliver training programmes, and stay current on best practices to drive improvement initiatives
- Effectively communicate with and manage stakeholder expectations, build relationships, and support facilitating meetings and workshops
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making, and prepare reports and presentations
- Maintain accurate documentation for processes, projects, and initiatives, and research new methodologies and technologies
This role is part of our Strategy and Business Development Function. You will report directly to the Director of Internal Development.
What you’ll need to succeed
Knowledge and understanding of project and programme management work in a global transformation project, combining business requirements and IM solutions, is essential in this position. We are looking for a person who has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, business analysis, process improvement, and/or internal development initiatives. You possess analytical, communication, presentation, and project management skills. As an individual you are a proactive problem-solver and have a passion for project success and continuous improvement.
Ideally you have
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is an asset
- Previous experience in transformation or IM programme management within a manufacturing or consulting company
- Change Management
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques
- Experience in training and facilitation is an advantage
- Proficient in Google Suite, particularly slides and sheets
- You are real team player, but also able to work independently
