Tax Trainee, Corporate Tax

We are looking for an analytical and eager-to-learn Tax Trainee to join our Group Tax team for the summer 2026. This is a full-time position for approximately three months between May and August, with the exact dates to be agreed upon. As part of our team, you will have a chance to get an overview of how a multinational organization operates. You will work as an active member of the Global Tax function, providing support across Corporate Income Tax, Transfer Pricing and Indirect Tax.

 


The position will be based in Helsinki or Kaarina, Finland.

More tasks and responsibilities

 

Your daily tasks will be diverse, supporting the team in areas such as: 

 

  • Direct Tax & Compliance: Supporting general tax compliance activities globally, including Permanent Establishments (PEs) and Withholding Tax (WHT).
  • Transfer Pricing: Supporting global TP activities, including updating documentation, assisting with intra-group price setting and maintaining intercompany agreements.
  • VAT & Indirect Tax: Assisting with VAT compliance checks, cross-border trade queries and other
    relevant tasks.
  • Research & Drafting: Monitoring tax law updates and conducting research for specific cases, as well assisting in the preparation of internal tax memos and training materials.
  • Data & Process Support: Providing general administrative support and data archiving to ensure smooth team operations and audit readiness

What you’ll need to succeed

 

To thrive in this role, you should possess a proactive "can-do" mindset and a genuine passion for deepening your expertise in corporate taxation. We value candidates who combine strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a complex, international business environment.


Ideally you have

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's level studies in Economics and Business Administration, Law, or similar (focus on Accounting or Tax). Preferably in the mid/late phase in studies.
  • Previous work experience in corporate taxation is an asset. Alternatively, a strong academic knowledge base combined with a genuine interest to deepen tax expertise.
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
  • Good communication skills and fluent written and spoken English.
  • Strong IT and data management skills (e.g. Google Sheet/Microsoft Excel or similar)
