The purpose of this role is to promote and sell MacGregor products, with a main focus on spare parts and services, while serving as the front line of customer contacts and undertaking any other tasks assigned by management in the best interest of the company.

Main tasks and responsibilities

•    Develop and implement sales tactics and TTO action plans, meet and exceed sales budgets
•    Plan and execute customer visits, produce reports, collect and share feedback to improve strategies
•    Report on customer Installed Base (IB), promote service contracts and follow up on quotes
•    Build customer relationships with key stakeholders
•    Refer leads, feedback, and competitor data internally
•    Monitor order and delivery and escalate support needs
•    Pursue account receivables and execute assigned projects

 

This role is part of our Global Services Division. Reporting directly to the Regional Account Manager, North Asia. This position is based in Kwai Fong, Hong Kong.

What you’ll need to succeed

Understanding of the marine, shipping, or offshore industries is essential for this position. We are looking for a person with established experience in the Hong Kong market and with competence in Google Workspace. You are a self-driven, customer-focused individual with communication, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills, able to work with limited supervision, and you have a desire to further develop yourself and the department. 

 

Ideally you have
•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marine or business
•    3-5 years of experience within the marine, shipping, or offshore industries in Hong Kong (job title will be subject to the related experience)
•    Fluent in English language - both verbal and written
