This role is part of our Merchant and Solutions Division. Reporting directly to the Manager Mechanical Engineering.The position will be on-site in MacGregor’s office in Kaarina, Finland. The traineeship is scheduled to run from May through August 2026.

More tasks and responsibilities

• Provide support for ongoing design projects to ensure their progress and timely delivery
• Contribute to the development of innovative design tools and internal guidelines to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
• Collaborate closely with design partners, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring alignment with project goals
• Depending on workload, offer assistance to cross-functional teams such as R&D, tendering, and control systems to ensure seamless integration across all phases of the project.

What you’ll need to succeed

• A relevant engineering degree, such as in mechanical or materials engineering, with preferably two years of completed studies
• Advanced in 2D & 3D CAD software
• Technical approach with strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset
• Ability to multitask and work in a team
• Fluent in verbal and written English
