We are seeking a proactive-minded Project Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will act as the backbone of our project delivery, providing essential support to Project Managers during the tender, proposal, and execution stages.
You will not only support the wider team but also take ownership of your own assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. If you are newly graduated, we want to hear from you.
More tasks and responsibilities
- Manage individually assigned projects and tasks in full compliance with the Operating Principal Manual (OPM) and Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Assist with cost calculations, obtain offers from external vendors, and support the sourcing/purchasing of relevant materials
- Coordinate logistics activities to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery of parts and services
- Monitor project KPIs and take immediate action to address deviations, ensuring successful project completion
- Act as the single point of contact for internal parties and coordinate effectively with the different departments.
Reporting directly to the Global Manager, Offshore Service Projects. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Kristiansand or Arendal, Norway.
What you’ll need to succeed
As a customer-centric professional, you consistently deliver value to all stakeholders. You are adept at building strong collaborative relationships between various teams, thanks to your excellent communication skills, positive and supportive attitude and ability to turn around when needed.
Ideally you have
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical/administrative discipline or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Knowledge of SAP (Project Module), Google Workspace and CRM systems,
- Solution oriented mindset to identify the challenges and focus on the solutions
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
