Senior Sales Manager Offshore

We are looking for two Senior Sales Managers who will actively participate in market research, develop new solutions, and promote and sell solutions worldwide for the offshore market. They will also provide a highly motivated and business-oriented contribution to support MacGregor’s growth and innovation strategy globally.

More tasks and responsibilities

  • Continuously grow MacGregor’s brand awareness
  • Discover and direct business opportunities based on well established knowledge of market demands
  • Sustain and develop strong long-lasting customer relationships
  • Perform market-related activities such as participation at relevant conferences and exhibitions
  • Create value for customers through sales and support
  • Generate sales by leveraging your existing network within the Offshore global marke
  • Negotiate and close deals.


Reporting directly to the Senior Manager Sales & Marketing located in Norway. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Kristiansand or Arendal, Norway.

What you’ll need to succeed

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-driven achiever who is proactive within the internal and external environment and comfortable with both autonomous and team-based work. The ideal candidate will possess strategic and analytical capabilities, and demonstrate a strong commercial drive alongside a proven ability to drive the sales process. 

This role also requires proven multicultural experience and a deep understanding of global differences, backed by outstanding communication and presentation skills necessary for influencing and securing commitment at all organizational levels.

Ideally you have

  • Solid knowledge of the Offshore market, and available network within the industry’s players
  • BSc/ MSc degree in business administration, marketing, or engineering (relevant experience can compensate for formal education)
  • Knowledge and experience in participating at key industry events, seminars and exhibitions
  • Highly skilled in complex contract negotiation and stakeholder management
  • Creating and implementing sales plans
  • Experience in developing budgets
  • Be able to travel worldwide
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
