Regional Manager - Installation & Commissioning

Are you driven by problem solving? Do you thrive managing field teams for on-budget project success Looking no further, MacGregor is looking to hire a Regional Manager Asia, Installation & Commissioning with experience from a technical and business driven offshore environment.

The purpose of this role is to lead regional installation and commissioning, guaranteeing project efficiency and client satisfaction through effective field team management, while also ensuring projects are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.

As a Regional Manager Asia, Installation & Commissioning, your day-to-day responsibilities will be to oversee installation and commissioning projects, develop efficient departmental processes, and assign, monitor, and support project execution by field teams. In addition, you will review project tenders and budgets, and collaborate with the Program Manager I&C to set and achieve departmental goals.

More tasks and responsibilities

• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring project satisfaction and high-quality supply 
• Oversee project execution, coordinating Service Engineers and Site Supervisors, while maintaining accurate records and aligning with Areas, QC and Engineering for optimal personnel allocation
• Implement and adapt departmental processes based on industry trends, ensuring efficiency and compliance
• Prioritize and promote a HSE attitude across all operations
• Ensure project completion to client specifications, while monitoring progress and managing all associated documentation

This role is part of our Equipment and Solutions Division. Reporting directly to the Program Manager I&C. This position is based in Nantong, China.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for a reliable individual with technical and business minded offshore background, who is proficient in Google Suite and SAP. You demonstrate communication and leadership skills, intercultural awareness, and proven abilities in balancing technical and commercial considerations across diverse stakeholders. Proven management and customer relationship skills are essential for this position. 

Ideally you have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• 10+ years of Offshore products experience in installation and commission
• Willingness to travel to project sites
• Ability to be part of project meetings internally and externally 
• Proficiency in English language - both verbal and written
