We are looking for a motivated and skilled Production Engineer Electrical to join our service team. This role is essential for the production and commissioning of our specialized PLC remote access equipment. If you have a strong background in electrical assembly and a natural ability for working with programming tools, we want to hear from you.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager. This position is based in Workshop in Pinneberg, Germany.
More tasks and responsibilities
- Manufacturing of PLC remote access equipment.
- Installation of Windows 10/11 and necessary PLC programming tools.
- Installing PLC programs on various hardware platforms (IFM, Eaton, Siemens, Eberle, Klöckner Möller).
- Assembly of electrical components into sub-assemblies or finished products.
- Setting up modems and other network components.
- Assisting visiting trainers with electrical mockups.
- Installation and recharging of programs on Frequency Converters.
- Manufacturing of Electrical cabinets.
- Repairing electrical equipment and tools (depending on experience).
- Maintaining and ensuring the functionality of 3D printers.
- Documentation of tools within the Workshop.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, you will need a solid electrical apprenticeship background combined with the ability to interpret electrical and technical drawings. Proficiency in both English and German is crucial for effective communication within our international team and while handling documentation.
Ideally you have
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Fluent command of English and German.
- Knowledge of PLC programming (this is a definite plus).
- Interest and experience in 3D Printing.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software.
- Experience with SAP for component booking and inventory management.
