Do you excel at coordinating solutions for customers? Looking no further, MacGregor is looking to hire an Operations Coordinator to join the team.
The primary objective of this position is to ensure comprehensive and effective coordination of service operations. This coordination is essential to meet the requirements of both internal and external stakeholders, as well as broader business needs, at all times.
Furthermore, this role involves assisting with cost estimations during the pre-contract phase. It also includes coordinating global resources in collaboration with other Coordinators and overseeing the execution of assigned contracts to ensure both efficiency and profitability, while consistently fulfilling customer and business requirements.
More tasks and responsibilities
- Responsible for global inspection and service job coordination, including planning, subcontractor orders, customer/insurance statements, report conversion, and technical support for engineers and line manager feedback
- Coordination of installations and warranty jobs - involves the preparation and documentation of installation jobs and the organization of warranty work
- Verification of subcontractor invoices - includes reviewing incoming invoices, claiming applicable discounts, and ensuring quality control
- Preparation of invoicing documentation - this entails discussing invoices with customers and insurance companies, creating specialized reports for insurance purposes, and preparing repair job quotations, including tendering and price identification for service jobs
- Customer contact - this involves conducting regular customer visits and serving as a point of communication between the customer and other departments
Reporting directly to the Operation Manager. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Piraeus, Greece.
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role has excellent leadership and management skills, sales techniques and ability to transfer know-how and experience to people. You also need to have good communication and networking skills.
Ideally you have
- Technical education
- Experience in mechanics, electrics and hydraulic systems
- Experience with merchant cranes, RORO, hatch covers
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Fluent in both written and spoken and Greek
