Non-Conformity Coordinator

The Non-Conformity Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all vendor claims are managed and well documented within the NC tool, make sure all NC’s are following our process and support our common NC targets. Drive the cash collection process and make sure suppliers take full responsibility when they are liable. Increase customer satisfaction and cash collection to support MCG profitability targets.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Ensure all relevant information is entered into Salesforce correctly, and make sure Vendor claims originating from customer claims are created as "Sub-claims".
  • Collect all relevant information from Purchase, QC, IA, Engineering or CM that supports a claim against vendors.
  • Hold regular follow up meetings to keep the responsible CM, SRM, and Purchaser well informed of the NC status.
  • Work with Purchase, Sourcing, SRM, or Category Managers to decide on a vendor claim strategy, take part in supplier meetings when discussing claims.
  • Keep Purchase/CM informed of strategies, vendor negotiation outcomes pertaining to their contracts, take part in discussions regarding corrective actions and provide feedback to stakeholders.
  • Follow up with Vendors and Production Control to ensure corrective actions are carried out at suppliers to avoid recurring quality issues.

 

Reporting directly to the Director, Sourcing. The position will be based in MacGregor's office in Shanghai, China.

What you’ll need to succeed

We are looking for a person with basic knowledge of S&SC processes and supplier relationships, continuous customer contact, problem-solving, good communication and negotiation,  process improvement. As a person you are cooperative, customer oriented and have technical skills.


Ideally you have

  • Commercial or Technical background, B.Sc. or equivalent experience
  • Experience in working with global and cross-cultural teams in a project based business
  • Knowledge from S&SC processes and supplier relationship from a project based business, preferable from the Maritime business
  • Good negotiation (Supplier) and influencing (Internal/external) skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships while remaining focused on the key deliverables
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
