We are looking for an Accountant to manage month-end general ledger close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting while driving process improvements. 

This role involves end-to-end accounting oversight and serving as the primary contact for selected partners or processes, either independently or within a small team.

More tasks and responsibilities

• Accounting of daily operations and end-to-end accounting processes control
• Ensure the completeness, accuracy and quality of the financial information
• Daily communication with the local business partners
• Deliver services in line with agreed controls and procedures
• Review, follow-up and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Investigation and resolution of discrepancies, recognizing unusual events and working with Supervisor to resolve the case
• Support external / internal auditors and Global process owners
  
  

Reporting directly to Team Lead MacGregor, RTR.This hybrid role is based in MacGregor's Sofia office.

What you’ll need to succeed

We are looking for a person who has hands-on attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability and interest to work and execute within an international environment. The suitable person has an analytical mindset and wants to develop processes and ways of working. 

Ideally you have

• University degree in accounting/finance/economics or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting and finance operations
• Experience with simple to complex query handling
• Basic Excel/ Google sheets skills
• Knowledge and understanding of IFRS standards
• SAP knowledge will be a strong advantage
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
