Are you an analytical, detail-oriented, and process-minded professional who thrives in a dynamic international environment? We are looking for a Collection Specialist to support the MacGregor Collections process.

As a Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for collections activities, securing promises for payment, and ensuring all cash is correctly applied.

Furthermore, you will manage disputes until resolution, perform credit checks, and actively manage customer credit limits based on their payment behaviour.

More tasks and responsibilities

• Perform daily collections activities, including calling and emailing customers, and maintain a call/contact schedule
• Responsible for securing promises for payment
• Provide information/status about customer portfolio
• Prepare weekly high-risk customer report
• Prepare a regular statement of credit limit exposure and credit limit non-conformance
  
  

This role, a hybrid position based in Sofia, Bulgaria, reports to Senior Manager, OTC & MDM Operations.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you must be a logical, self-driven team player with a focus on problem-solving. You also need to prioritize tasks, quickly master new skills, and consistently deliver high-quality results.

Ideally you have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics,or currently in final year of study
• 2-3 years of experience in a relevant role 
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Excel - Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Charts)
• Good knowledge of ERP systems ( SAP would be considered as an advantage
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
