Are you passionate about the finance business partnering role? Do you like to develop financial models, dashboards and templates? Looking no further, MacGregor is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Controller to join the company. 

The purpose of this role is to enable the Global Services Division ("GSD") to meet its objectives by offering actionable insights and predictions to aid strategic decisions and boost performance.

You will manage the continuous cycle of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial and operational data.
 

Mоre tasks and responsibilities

• Coordinate GSD's annual FP&A clock in alignment with Group Control and MacGregor Business Center Record-to-Report
• Further develop GSD's framework of Targets-to-Improve and other KPIs
• Design standard reporting templates and dashboards, co-create them (together with the BI-team) and prepare instructions and guidelines
• Maintain GSD's financial model (profit and cost centre structure) and approve changes hereto
• Co-review regular performance reports, budgets and forecasts of GSD business units
• Co-prepare regular GSD performance reports, budgets and forecasts
• Prepare (adhoc) data analyses and translate these into actionable insights to management

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Business Control GSD, based in Singapore. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Sofia, Bulgaria.

What you’ll need to succeed

The ideal candidate possesses business and commerce acumen, coupled with analytical and problem-solving skills that allow you to effectively address challenges and develop innovative solutions. 

Your planning and time management skills enable you to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Moreover, you demonstrate communication, presentation, and influencing skills, fostering collaboration and driving alignment.

Finally, you are comfortable working in a virtual team environment spread around the globe, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to contribute effectively in remote settings.

Ideally you have

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience in senior controller or FP&A role in an international B2B environment
• Solid experience with development of KPI framework, reporting templates and dashboards
• Experience with Google Cloud (especially Bigquery and Looker Studio) and Google Workspace (Apps script) or basic knowledge of SQL and Javascript 
• And are fluent in both written and spoken English
