The Project Manager leads and manages the delivery of IT and digital initiatives that support MacGregor’s business objectives and digital development.


The role ensures that projects are executed in alignment with MacGregor’s strategic priorities, governance processes and technology landscape. The Project Manager works closely with business stakeholders, digital teams, architects and external partners to translate requirements into structured project plans and ensure effective delivery.


The role drives transparency, risk management and progress tracking, ensuring that digital initiatives deliver expected business value and operational improvements.

More tasks and responsibilities

  • Lead the full circle of IT and digital projects
  • Develop and maintain project plans
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria in alignment with business needs and strategic priorities
  • Ensure projects are delivered according to expectations
  • Facilitate decision-making by preparing structured project updates, documentation and governance materials
  • Support change management and stakeholder engagement
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices, methods and tools within MacGregor
  • Contribute with project portfolio coordination, reporting and follow-up

 

Reporting directly to the Director, Digital Development & Portfolio Management located in Sweden. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Sofia, Bulgaria.

What you’ll need to succeed

A strong candidate for this role has demonstrable previous experience in Project management. Experience with IT projects will be considered a strong advantage. 


Stakeholder management, communication and analytical thinking are key for the position. Planning, problem-solving, risk mitigation and sound decision-making will prove integral for a successful applicant.

 

Ideally you have: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Information Systems or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT or digital project management
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional IT or digital transformation projects
  • Experience managing project scope, timelines, resources and budgets
  • Experience working with both business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver IT solutions
  • Experience with structured project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum or Waterfall
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP), PRINCE2 or equivalent) is considered an advantage
  • Excellent communication in English
