Junior Specialist, Accounts Payable

Are you a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to start your journey in Finance? Join our motivated Accounts Payable (AP) team as a Junior Specialist, Accounts Payable!

We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented individuals with a structured approach to work, ready to learn and grow in a supportive team environment while contributing to efficient and accurate invoice processing.

As a core member of our AP team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and resolving related queries.

More tasks and responsibilities

• Perform daily invoice processing tasks accurately and on time, following established procedures and controls
• Execute 2-way or 3-way matching of invoices with purchase orders and goods receipts
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with vendors and internal teams such as Procurement and Finance
• Support the coding and verification of non-purchase order invoices using approved guidelines
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Contribute to process improvement by suggesting ways to simplify and enhance Accounts Payable operations.

This role, a hybrid position based in Sofia, Bulgaria, reports to Team Lead, Invoice to pay.

What you’ll need to succeed

We are looking for someone who is organized, possessing the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet regular payment deadlines. Furthermore, you should have communication skills (both verbal and written) and a willingness to work collaboratively. 

Ideally you have

• University degree in Finance,Economics or related field
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in an invoice to pay function
• Good in MS Office or Google Workspace
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferable SAP
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
