We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working with data, processes, and technology to ensure smooth and accurate payment operations.

The Payments Support Specialist plays a key role in keeping our daily payment operations smooth and accurate.

More tasks and responsibilities

  • Execute daily payment operations and transactional activities in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Handle and resolve payment-related inquiries and tickets, serving as the first line of contact for Accounts Payable
  • Monitor electronic bank statements via SWIFT and process manual postings when required
  • Support month-end closing activities, including uploading and reconciling bank statements
  • Collaborate effectively with other finance process teams to maintain smooth payment operations
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the Payments areas related to above activities with external parties and insourcing activities.


This role, a hybrid position based in Sofia, Bulgaria, reports to Team Lead, Payments and Treasury Back Office.

What you’ll need to succeed

You should possess analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills to tackle complex payment issues and manage diverse tasks efficiently. Your attention to detail needs to be impeccable to ensure transactional accuracy, and critically, you need to demonstrate the ability to work effectively under strict deadlines to meet daily processing schedules and critical month-end closing timelines.

Ideally you have

  • University degree in Finance,Economics or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a relevant finance role
  • Good in MS Office or Google Workspace
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferable SAP
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
