Our internal recruitment department is expanding and we are looking for a skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team and help us find the right candidates for the right roles. 

 

In this position you will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment across all departments and levels within MacGregor globally. The Recruitment Specialist’s supports and guides MacGregor's hiring managers through every step of the recruitment process, adhering to company policy and procedures.

 

As a Recruitment Specialist you will work closely with the line managers to gain comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for every position, and to meet competitive hiring goals and expectations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be to understand staffing needs, define job requirements, and execute established recruitment strategies tailored to local markets.  Write and post job advertisements on relevant platforms in addition to source candidates through other channels and professional networks. Identify and manage candidates throughout the recruitment process, facilitating and conducting interviews to the final-offer stage while ensuring a positive candidate experience, and providing excellent service to line managers.


Our dedicated recruitment team of four (4) is spread across Bulgaria, Poland, and Norway, and plays a crucial part in the company's growth. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be a vital contributor to our achievements!

 

This is a temporary position due to company growth. While the contract is for a fixed term of one year, we are a growing company and exceptional candidates may be considered for future opportunities should they arise.

 

More tasks and responsibilities

  • Identify qualified candidates through active search
  • Implementing innovative sourcing and creative recruitment strategies to ensure a talent pipeline beyond traditional channels
  • Build and maintain candidate pipeline 
  • Internal recruitment training
  • Work closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and achieve recruitment goals


Reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager located in Norway. This position is based in MacGregor’s office in Sofia, Bulgaria. The position offers a hybrid work model, requiring a combination of remote and in-office work.

What you’ll need to succeed

We are looking for a people-oriented team player who excels at connecting technical talent with their ideal career opportunities. Whether you have an engineering background or are an experienced recruiter with a track record in technical roles, you possess the ability to build lasting relationships with hiring managers, candidates and stakeholders. This role requires a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, decision-making skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. 

 

You will get the opportunity to work in an international work environment, supporting hiring managers across Asia, Europe, the Americas, covering a range of roles including finance, accounting, IM, sales, and technical positions. In this position you will primarily work standard business hours however you are flexibe and willing to support our Americas business units (primarily U.S. and Brazil) once or twice a week. On these days, a shifted schedule (e.g., noon – 21:00 or 10:00 – 19:00) allows you to facilitate interviews and attend meetings with our US and Brazilian-based teams.


Ideally you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
  • Relevant experience may compensate for lack of education
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience from similar role 
  • Previous experience with recruiting for technical positions
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
  • Previous experience with SAP Successfactor is a plus not not a must
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed is beneficial
  • International experience is a plus, it is not a requirement
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Bulgarian
