MacGregor is looking to hire a Senior Specialist, Credit Control and Collections to join our team. 


The purpose of this role is to support the MacGregor Credit Control and Collections process including performance measures, process standards and policies via touch points and interfaces to related process areas.


In this role you will be responsible for completing the check for payable invoices for the current month and contact local Finance controllers and customers in order to collect due receivables/pre-delinquent contacts for not yet due invoices could also be needed during Quarter-end months; Identify Collections items which need action and Manage Collections strategies. In addition, monthly follow-up and analysis forecasts vs actual cash collected. You will receive, record and route customer disputes, monitor and escalate open disputes, perform root cause analysis and resolve dispute notifications. Your responsibilities also include identification of account applications, management of credit records, performing account credit check / review, approval of credit risk, performing credit monitoring and reporting and developing counterparty risk mitigation solutions.

More tasks and responsibilities

  • Process order hold and release; Manage No trade list; Reinstate accounts from No trade list
  • Provide training of MacGregor systems (SAP, ServiceNow, BPOpen, QlikView and others applicable) to customers and new team members
  • Identify improvement areas and suggest development of the processes accordingly
  • Monitor timeliness and correctness of data during Period End Closing; Contact and support to customers during PEC
  • Support the Supervisor/TL in the communication / escalation process to ensure alignment of interested parties.
  • Assist Financial Reporting group with various duties during the PEC process 
  • Ability to understand and perform how credit limit and blocked order works and perform order release based on analysis


Reporting directly to the Service Delivery Lead OTC - Order to Cash. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Sofia, Bulgaria.

What you’ll need to succeed

The ideal candidate has previous experience from a similar role. You are detail-oriented with good communication, organisational skills and time management. We are looking for a person who has the ability to prioritise, has logical thinking and a process-oriented mindset. The suitable person also has strong analytical skills.


Ideally you have

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics
  • Minimum three years of experience from similar position
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Charts), Powerpoint and process mapping tools is a must
  • It is a plus with previous experience from an international environment
  • Previous experience with SAP and ServiceNow is a bonus
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English
