Are you an analytical, detail-oriented, and sustainability-driven professional who thrives on data management and stakeholder collaboration? We are looking for a Sourcing Sustainability Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting supplier engagement, tracking progress on team KPIs, and implementing our responsible sourcing initiatives.
As a Sourcing Sustainability Specialist, you will manage vital sustainability data and declarations, ensuring our supply chain remains compliant and aligned with our environmental and ethical standards.
More tasks and responsibilities
- Manage supplier invitations and compliance declarations (such as REACH, RoHS, and IHM), and partner with Supplier Relationship Managers (SRMs) to drive improvements in supplier sustainability scores
- Extract raw data from SAP following established standard operating procedures, and perform cleaning and verification to ensure high data accuracy
- Perform Data analysis & monthly reporting
- Serve as the key user for supplier management tools and the main administrator for internal environmental systems, validating energy and waste data
- Stakeholder collaboration & compliance
Reporting directly to the Sourcing Process Controller, based in China. This is a full-time/hybrid position based in MacGregor's Sofia office in Bulgaria.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, it is essential that you combine an analytical mindset with a strong interest in environmental sustainability and excellent communication skills.
We are seeking an organised and proactive team player who is comfortable collaborating across diverse cross-functional teams (including Sourcing, Supply Chain, Legal, Sustainability, Contract Management, and Customer Services) to drive responsible sourcing goals.
Ideally you have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree, with a preference for subjects in Sustainability, Chemistry, or Sourcing & Supply Chain.
- Working experience in Sustainability, Compliance, or Sourcing & Supply Chain would be a plus
- Strong communication skills, takes initiative, works collaboratively, and demonstrates a growth- and solution-oriented approach
- Confident in using Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
- Experience in reporting and data analysis
- A strong, demonstrable interest in sustainability and environmental topics
- Fluent in written and spoken English
