Specialist Payments and TBO

Do you thrive in problem-solving and supporting customers? Looking no further, MacGregor is looking to hire a Specialist, Payments and Treasury Back Office (TBO) to join our team.

In this position, you will deliver services in line with customers’ needs and expectations. You will perform transactional activity related to the Payments area, be responsible for resolving queries from customers, vendors and colleagues related to Payments. Moreover, you will identify process improvements - suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures and technologies. You will also ensure customers are satisfied to maintain a positive brand image for the MacGregor Business Service Center, ensure all documentation and data is up-to-date and accurate.

More tasks and responsibilities

• Specialist providing assistance on Payment-related inquiries, acting as a first line of contact via appropriate channels (tickets, mails, etc.)
• Monitor electronic bank statements and post manual ones in SAP.
• Perform reporting and reconciliation tasks as part of the Treasury Back Office operations.
• Participate in period end closing activities and ensure timely and accurate completion of payments and TBO tasks

Reporting directly to the Team Lead, Payments and Treasury Back Office. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Sofia, Bulgaria.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will be a great fit for the role if you have customer service focus and interpersonal skills as well as analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills. You are also good at taking initiative in a proactive manner to improve your own and team work practices. You present a strong work ethic and ability to comply with internal controls and policies.

Ideally you have

• Degree in finance, accounting or business related  
• Experience with simple to complex Payments query handling
• Hands-on experience working with ERP/Cloud system preferred, Online Banking
• Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
• Proficient in English both verbal and written
