Are you a recent graduate or in your final years of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics? We are looking for a Trainee,Finance to join our team in Sofia. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual, who has aspirations to develop a career in the area of Accounting and wants to support a wide range of finance and accounting processes in an international environment.


As a Trainee, Finance you will provide essential support for MacGregor's financial processes, including assisting with month-end general ledger closing and preparing balance sheet reconciliations. You will also handle transactional activities, support financial reporting, and manage ad-hoc requests. This position will give you exposure to the end-to-end accounting processes, such as Order to Cash, Invoice to Pay, and Record to Report

More tasks and responsibilities

  • Assist with accounting and finance services for various processes and countries
  • Help with transactional activities and financial reporting
  • Perform basic data entry and research to maintain account information
  • Ensure all work is compliant with global company guidelines and policies
  • Help with daily support and escalation of cases using the ticketing system ServiceNow.

Reporting directly to the Team Lead, Record to Report located in Sofia. This part-time position, offering flexible working hours, will be based in MacGregor's Sofia office.

What you’ll need to succeed

You are currently in your final years of studies or a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.


Ideally you have

  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Experience in using Google Workspace or MS Office
  • Detail-oriented with communication and organizational skills
  • Time management and prioritization abilities
  • Logical thinking with a process-oriented mindset.
