Are you passionate about delivering excellent service and want to explore a career in Finance. We, at MacGregor, are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee to join our dynamic finance team. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for an individual eager to build a career in finance and accounting. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop a strong foundation in accounts payable processes.
As a Trainee in our Invoice to Pay department, you will be involved in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, within the Invoice to pay department. This position offers a structured learning path with the potential for growth and advancement within our Company.
The roles operate under a hybrid working model and report directly to the Team Lead, Invoice to Pay.
More tasks and responsibilities
● Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
● Perform invoice and credit notes corrections
● Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive and professional communication
● Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper invoice coding and approval
● Vendor master data validation
● Maintain organized and accurate financial records
● Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned
What you’ll need to succeed
● Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or in the last years of studies
● Customer service focus and interpersonal skills
● Analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
● Team player
● Demonstrate an attention to detail and the ability to check one’s own work
● Proficient in English language - both verbal and written
