We, at MacGregor, are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee to join our dynamic finance team in an Accounts Payable role. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for an individual eager to build a career in finance and accounting. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop a strong foundation in accounts payable processes.

 

As a Trainee in our Accounts Payable team, you will be involved in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, within the Invoice to pay department. This position offers a structured learning path with the potential for growth and advancement within our Company.

 

This role is part of our Invoice to pay department. Reporting directly to Team Lead, Payments and TBO. This position is based in Sofia, Bulgaria along with the working model is hybrid. 

More tasks and responsibilities

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Perform invoice and credit notes corrections
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive and professional communication
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper invoice coding and approval
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records
  • Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or in the last years of studies 
  • Customer service focus and interpersonal skills 
  • Analytical, problem solving and organisational skills 
  • Team player 
  • Demonstrate an attention to detail and the ability to check one’s own work 
  • Proficient in English language - both verbal and written
