Transactional RTR Accountant

This is your chance to step into a high-impact role, becoming the key responsible for maintaining the integrity of crucial financial data, including fixed assets and intercompany transactions, and guaranteeing a seamless, timely month-end close.

More tasks and responsibilities

• Deliver accounting services per controls and procedures, ensuring accurate company data
• Perform complex bank reconciliations and bookings
• Responsible for proactive identification and resolution of discrepancies, as well as managing ad hoc requests
• Support and guide the Junior Transactional Accountant
• Provide cross-training and back-up support for roles within the R2R area.

This role, a hybrid position based in Sofia, Bulgaria, reports to the Team Leader – Record to Report in Sofia, Bulgaria, with an operational reporting line to the Team Coordinator - Record to Report

What you’ll need to succeed

We are seeking individuals with a team attitude and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidates will thrive in an international environment, possessing an analytical mindset and a desire to develop and improve processes and ways of working.

Ideally you have

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance operations
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Good in MS Office or Google Workspace
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferable SAP
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
