The Contract Manager is head of the project and responsible for supporting sales to evaluate the budget, scope, schedule and risks from contract award to delivery. Manage and lead allocated project teams, and maintain the relationship with the Customer until the expiry of guarantee. Support Sales in the tender phase and bring experience from former projects. As the Contract Manager you will become a key partner in our success! 

More tasks and responsibilities

• Ensure all contract objectives are met, with execution on time and within budget, while overseeing the Contract Group (Design, Purchasing, Production Control, Installation) and ensuring all members follow the specified concept and requirements
• Serve as the primary contact with the customer, monitor contract progress, and track financial performance, including regular reporting on status, risks, opportunities (PCS), nonconformities, and resolution
• Ensure all key meetings (Validation, Contract Follow-up, Design Reviews, and Close-Out) are held, documented, and used for feedback
• Regularly update the contract program to meet milestones and manage commercial aspects, ensuring invoices are issued and payments received

Reporting directly to the Director, CM & Commissioning China Operation. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Tianjin, China.

What you’ll need to succeed

A highly proactive and goal-oriented professional with a knack for finding solutions. You excel at follow-up, coordination, and project management, skillfully handling complex tasks to ensure successful outcomes. You know how to communicate effectively with both clients and internally, building positive relationships and clear understanding. Highly structured and business-minded, with solid organizational skills, including meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multi-task efficiently under pressure. 

Ideally you have

• University degree in accounting/finance/economics
• 7+ years of experience in a relevant finance role 
• Proven operational experience and results in project management of Projects within relevant businesses
• P&L responsibility and tracking budgets
• Competencies within the areas of reporting, contracts and planning
• Good knowledge of financial and reporting systems, preferable SAP, HFM, Vertex
• Project management and gross margin securing skills
• Specific reporting knowledge of defined benefit pension schemes 
• Interpersonal, communication, leadership and team management skills
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
