The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the Conducting design activities to improve or generate new equipment, systems, and processes.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Provide and prepare design schematic drawings and BOM.
- Produce assembly and detail drawings sufficient for construction.
- Program PLC & HMI (Omron (CJ2M), Siemens (S7 1200), Proface (GP series), etc.).
- Support FAT & SAT upon request.
- Prepare test procedures / reports in accordance with design requirements.
Reporting directly to the Team Lead Electrical Systems. The position will be based in MacGregor's office in Tianjin, China.
What you’ll need to succeed
We are looking for a person with basic knowledge of electrical design from Marine Industry or similar field above 5 years experience. As a person you are cooperative, customer oriented and have technical skills.
Ideally you have
- Bachelor Degree in electrical engineering and automation or automation, Above 5 year working experience in similar fields.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD, E3, Eplan, WSCAD or similar software for electrical design.
- Proficient in using VFD (ABB, Vacon, Siemens, etc.) for electrical design and parameter setting.
- Proficient with the using of industrial field bus technologies, including Profinet, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP.
- Knowledge about classification society requirements and their implementation for electrical systems.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
