We pride ourselves on delivering world-class support to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment and are seeking a Commissioning & Installation Engineer who shares our commitment to exceptional service.
The Commissioning & Installation Engineer will be responsible for performing commissioning on board for hatch covers and lashing bridges. And to support fabrication, design, contract management and logistics operation.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Plan and carry out commissioning work, handle guarantee under guarantee period
- Give input to claim handling tool to handle claims towards subcontractor
- Provide commissioning report,delivery document signed by shipyard, and feedback about design faults and proposal for improvements to CM
- Highlight problems make recommendation to stop recurrence
- Support sales activities and quality control for hatch covers
- Benchmarking of our competitor product
Reporting directly to the Commissioning Team Leader. The position will travel to the shipyard in China as project needed.
What you’ll need to succeed
We are looking for a person with basic knowledge of electrical and hull structures. As a person you are cooperative, customer oriented and have technical skills.
Ideally you have
- B.Sc./ applicable experience
- At least 3 years of experience
- Technical product knowledge
- Good knowledge of processes, organization and products within different product lines
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
