Ready to drive high-velocity sales growth and directly impact maritime client success? Look no further—MacGregor is hiring a Desktop Account Representative to join our Global Services Division in Asia!

In this role, you will be responsible for accelerating spare parts and services sales growth, boosting quote hit rates, and systematically building stronger customer relationships across targeted account segments. Utilizing high-velocity, data-driven desktop outreach, you’ll convert pipeline opportunities, execute targeted sales plays, and re-engage under-performing accounts to drive spare parts and revenue growth.

On a day-to-day basis, you will leverage Salesforce CRM and Data Studio insights to identify high-value opportunities, proactively follow up on high-value open quotes (valued above €5k), and pitch forward-looking 12-month dry-docking solutions. Working closely with product commercial teams, technical superintendents, and regional sales leaders, you will gather vital market intelligence and secure new RFQs to optimize sales channels and deliver impactful results.

More tasks and responsibilities

  • Prioritize weekly outreach and daily sales plays by leveraging Salesforce CRM and Data Studio i.e. Customer 360 and DAM Dashboard insights to match high-value opportunities with vessel profiles

  • Conduct proactive follow-up calls on open quotes valued above €5k to resolve customer bottleneck, confirm maintenance alignment, and maximize conversion hit rates

  • Own a forward-looking 12-month dry-docking schedule across assigned fleets to pitch Pre-Docking Inspections (PDIs), customized spare kits, and upgrade packages early in the customer's planning cycle

  • Execute targeted outbound sales campaigns for key spare part kits, equipment upgrades, and maintenance packages in close collaboration with product commercial teams to drive incremental orders

  • Conduct formal lost-deal evaluations on large-value quotes to gather customer feedback on price, lead time, and technical alignment, sharing actionable market intelligence internally

  • Maintain absolute Salesforce hygiene by logging all interactions and continuously updating vessel profiles to link technical decision-makers (Superintendents) directly to their fleet

  • Target inactive accounts and under-performing vessels with limited historical order activity to re-establish communication channels and secure new Requests for Quotation (RFQs)

  • Track new-build deliveries and second-hand vessel acquisitions (12–18 month horizon) to leverage MacGregor's OEM standing and secure early onboard spare packages and support contracts

  • Maintain a consistent outreach to customer via phone and email to new and existing customer

  • Accept, execute, and deliver cross-functional projects assigned by management to optimize internal workflows, enhance commercial processes, and drive overall company growth

  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
